For sites with continuing pest exposure, a planned programme can make more sense than responding to each sighting in isolation. Contract scope should reflect the premises and risks, not a generic fixed package.
What may be included
A programme shaped around the site.
Scheduled inspections
Agreed visits to check key areas, monitor signs and identify changes that need attention.
Monitoring and treatment
Appropriate tools and control methods selected following site assessment and legal/safety considerations.
Records and recommendations
Clear findings and action points, with reporting requirements agreed in advance.
Review and escalation
A process for additional sightings, follow-up visits and discussing changing site risks.
Before we quote
What we need to understand.
- The premises type, size and location.
- Known pest history and any existing monitoring.
- Food handling, sensitive areas or access constraints.
- Required visit schedule, records and responsibilities.
- Any contractual or audit requirements you need to meet.
Service frequency, costs, any out-of-hours response arrangements and the precise scope must be agreed in writing. A contract does not remove the need for housekeeping, maintenance or appropriate cooperation on site.
For multi-site organisations
Consistent standards start with clear scope.
If you manage multiple locations, provide the addresses, types of building and any reporting expectations. We can establish whether those sites fall within practical coverage and what a consistent service would involve.
